The Long Conversation was held previously by Asia Society Northern California and The Long Now Foundation at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture in San Francisco in 2018. The event was part of the U.S.-premiere of COAL + ICE, coinciding with California Governor Jerry Brown’s Global Climate Action Summit, and included a three-week climate festival of dance, music, spoken word, food, family activities, films, educational programming, and creative dialogue.  Learn more about our 2018 COAL + ICE program here.
